بندي بطور متوسط يك درصد هزينه فروش را به خود اختصاص مي دهد و اگر فرض كنيم براي ساليانه يكصد و پنجاه هزار خودرو پرايد 5/1 ميليون تومان به قطعات ساز در ازاي توليد يكدستگاه خودرو پرداخت مي شود اين رقم شد و دست كم هزينه بسته بندي با اين حساب معادل 325 خودروي پرايد خواهد بود البته اگر هزينه هاي باز كردن بسته ها، انبارش و جابجايي كارتن ها ، مشمع و پالتهاي چوبي را به اين معادله اضافه نماييم اين رقم درصد در مورد خودروساز نيز به نظر معقول مي آيد البته يكي ديگر از هزينه هاي پنهان تأخير در دريافت پول از خودروساز است كه عمدتاً بدليل مشكل نقدينگي در اين بخش است .
