از سدها بايد با صرفه ترين و دقيق‌ترين روش را براي بررسي چگوني رفتار جريان بر روي سرريز در صورت وقوع سيل را در نظر گرفت. تا مدتي قبل استفاده از مدل فيزيكي تنها روش بررسي بوده ولي هم اكنون استفاده از نتايج بدست آمده و طراحي دقيق مسائل مهندسي دارد، بطوريكه يك پژوهشگر يا محقق با شناخت چگونگي رفتار يك پديده دربرخورد با مسائل مختلف مي تواند وضعيت فيزيكي پديده را درقبال مسائل مختلف مهندسي بهبود بخشد. <p class='MsoNormal' dir='RTL' style='text-align:justify;text-justify:kashida; text-kashida:0%;line-height:120%'><span style='font-size:14.0pt; line-height:120%;font-family:"B Lotus"' lang='AR-SA'>به عنوان مثال درطراحي بدنه خودرو اگر يك محقق عكس العمل يا رفتار هوا نسبت به خودرو را درسرعت هاي بالا درنظر نگيرد باعث مشكلات عديده اي خواهد شد بطوريكه دراين حالت ضريب بازدارندگي افزايش و درنتيجه نيروي بازدارندگي نيز افزايش مي يابد و اتومبيل براي رسيدن به يك سرعت مناسب بايستي نيروي بيشتري راتوليد كند كه در نتيجه باعث افزايش مصرف سوخت و ساير مشكلات خواهدشد. اما امروزه كارشناسان با شناخت رفتار و عكس العمل هوا نسبت به بدنه خودرو به اين نتيجه رسيده اند كه بايستي بدنه خودروها حالت آيروديناميكي داشته باشد تا با مشكلات ذكر شده مواجه نشوند. <p class='MsoBodyText2' dir='RTL' lang='AR-SA'>لذا شناخت پديده و عكس العمل آن نسبت به مسائل مختلف در امور مهندسي امروزي مانند هوا و فضا، هيدروليك، سيالات و ... از اهميت قابل توجهي برخودار است. دربرخورد مهندسان با مسائل و موضوعات هيدروليكي مشخص بودن چگونگي رفتار سيال كمك بسيار زيادي را در طراحي هرچه دقيق تر پروژه ها مي‌نمايد. حل برخي از مسائل هيدروليكي با روشهاي حل تحليلي امكان پذير مي باشد اما ممكن است دربرخي از موضوعات، حل تحليلي كمك قابل توجهي را به يك محقق ننمايد لذا بايستي ازحل عددي براي بررسي چگونگي رفتار سيال استفاده كرد. يكي از مسائل مهمي كه كارشناسان هيدروليك بايستي با آن آشنا باشند نحوه رفتار جريان برروي سرريزهاي سازه هاي آبي مي باشد. يكي از راه هاي شناخت رفتار جريان برروي سرريز استفاده از مدلهاي فيزيكي مي باشد. <p class='MsoNormal' dir='RTL' style='text-align:justify;text-justify:kashida; يكي از مشكلات مدلهاي فيزيكي درپروژه هاي مهندسي مدت زماني است كه طول مي كشد تا نتايج مورد بررسي و تجزيه و تحليل قرار گيرد به طوريكه ممكن است ماهها و يا دربرخي از موضوعات هيدروليكي مانند بررسي ميزان كاوتياسيون سالها طول بكشد ويا اينكه يك محقق براي بررسي مدل فيزيكي گزينه هاي مختلف با محدوديت زماني مواجه باشد. ساخت مدل فيزيكي و تجزيه و تحليل نتايج آن هزينه قابل توجهي را درپي دارد لذا دربحث هزينه وزمان ممكن است كه يك محقق امكان استفاده از مدلهاي مختلف فيزيكي را براي بررسي دقيق تر نتايج نداشته باشد. دربرخي از پديده ها و موضوعات مهندسي امكان استفاده از مدل فيزيكي نمي باشد به عنوان مثال مدلسازي محيطي با درجه حرارت 4000 درجه به بالا ممكن است بسيار سخت و يا امكان پذير نباشد. لذا استفاده از حل عددي مسائل كمك شاياني را به يك محقق مي نمايد تا به بررسي موضوع بپردازد. به طوريكه مي توان با كمترين lang='AR-SA'>بررسي رفتار جريان برروي تاج سرريز براي دبي هاي بيشتر از دبي طراحي از اهميت بسزايي درطراحي تاج سرريز برخودار است به طوريكه اگر فشار ايجاد شده برروي تاج سرريزهاي اوجي كمتر از فشار اتمسفر گردد، فشار منفي برروي سرريز كه براي دبي هاي بيشتر از دبي طراحي اتفاق مي افتد باعث پديده كاوتياسيون مي گردد بطوريكه اين پديده خسارات جبران ناپذيري را براي بسياري از سازه هاي آبي به بار آورده است. ازجمله سازه هاي آبي كه با اين پديده روبرو هستند مي توان به سرريز سد شهيد عباسپور اشاره كرد كه براي دبي هاي بيشتر از دبي طراحي، مشكلاتي براي سرريز اين سد ايجاد شده است. همچنين مي توان به سد انحرافي گرمسار اشاره كرد كه تاج سرريز آن دچار خوردگي و كاويتاسيون گرديده است. لذا در اين پايان نامه نحوه رفتار جريان برروي تاج سرريز اوجي سد انحرافي گرمسار با استفاده از نرم افزار <span dir='LTR' style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height: 120%;mso-bidi-font-family:"B Lotus"'>fluent<span style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:120%; font-family:"B Lotus"' lang='AR-SA'> مورد بررسي قرارگرفته است. از آنجائيكه براي مهار آبهاي سطحي و سيلاب ها از سدهاي انحرافي با سرريز اوجي استفاده مي گرد لذا ضروريت انجام اين تحقيق آن است علل فرسايش و كاويتاسيون برروي سرريز اوجي سد انحرافي گرمسار مشخص گردد و هدف اين
