مهم بوده است منتهي كمتر به آن توجه شده است هدف از انجام اين تحقيق شناخت بيشتر حوادث اين منطقه بوده البته فقط در يك مدت كوتاه، در تاريخ معاصر منتهي در اين برهه زماني هم، اين كار بسيار ناقص بوده و شامل كليه جوانب نمي‌باشد چون در اين تحقيق بيشتر به بررسي جنبه‌هاي از شخصيت و فعاليت قاضي محمد توجه شده است اما در طي آن سعي شده كه از كليه جرياناتي كه قاضي محمد در آنها نقشي داشته مطالبي بيان شود. ابتدا سعي شده پيشينة پژوهش حاضر به دست آيد، نتايجي كه كسب شد بدين شكل بود كه دو پايان نامه در مورد جمهوري كردستان نوشته شده كه يكي از پايان‌نامه‌ها در دانشگاه تربيت مدرس مي‌باشد و به كوشش آقاي مولودي دربارة تحليل جامعه شناختي جمهوري كردستان نوشته شده است و پايان نامه‌اي ديگر كه آقاي سجادي با عنوان جمهوري كردستان نوشته در دانشگاه شهيد بهشتي كه طي اين پايان نامه به بررسي پديده ناسيوناسيم كرد پرداخته‌اند. و در اين پژوهش سعي شده است با يك رويكرد جديد و آن هم، نقش رهبري قاضي محمد در موضوع بررسي شود اكثر كتابهاي كه به زبان فارسي در مورد اين موضوع در دسترس است بسيار مختصر در مورد موضوع بحث نموده‌اند ولي در عين حال تعدادي از اين كتابها با تزئيني و بيطرفانه حوادث را نقل نموده‌اند از جمله كتابي كه جديداً (يك سال پيش) منتشر شده است به نام هويت تاريخي و مشكلات مردم كرد چون خود نويسنده كتاب درزمان جمهوري كردستان در مهاباد و دانش آموز سال دوم دبيرستان بوده است اگر چه اطلاعات بسيار مختصر ولي اطلاعات موثقي را ارائه مي‌دهد و بيشتر كتابهاي نوشته شده ديگر هم به زبان انگليسي است كه تعدادي به فارسي ترجمه شده
