تماميت جسماني اشخاص است که خود داراي انواعي است و بر اساس عنصر رواني شدت و خفت آن مشخص ميگردد. قتل در قانون مجازات اسلامي به مواردي همچون قتل، عمد (بند الف م 206) قتل در حکم عمد (بند ب و ج م 206) قتل خطا شبيه عمد (بند ب م 295) قتل خطاي محض (بند الف م 295) قتل در حکم شبه عمد (تبصره 2 ماده 295) قتل در حکم خطاي محض (تبصره 1 م 295) قتل غيرعمد (م 616-م 714) قتل در اثناي منازعه (م 615 ق م ا) تقسيم ميگردد که در حقوق جزاي فرانسه به قتل عمد ضرب و جرح منتهي به فوت ، و قتل غيرعمد تقسيم ميگردد. در ميان موارد فوق‌الذکر قتل عمد شديدترين آنهاست که در حقوق جزاي ايران به مصاديقي همچون قتل عمدي محض ، قتل در حکم عمد و قتل در اثناي منازعه و در فرانسه به قتل عمدي ساده و قتل عمدي مشدده تقسيم مي‌گردد. که در بر گيرنده مواردي از قبيل: مسموميت منجر به مرگ ، قتل سبق تصميم قتل مستخدمين دولت ، قتل در اثر احراق عمدي، قتل توام با جنايت يا جنحه ديگر و قتل اوليا است . مواد از قتل عمدي محض (قتل با سونيت مسلم) آن است که جاني با قصد سلب حيات از مجني عليه (ازهاق روح) بوسيله فعل غالبا يا نادرا کشنده سبب قتل مجني عليه گردد. براي تحقق قتل عمدي محض سونيت خاص و عام تواما الزامي است . قتل در حکمم عمد نوع اول (ارتکاب قتل با فعل قتاله مطلق) زماني ارتکاب مييابد که جانبي بدون قصد با ارتکاب فعل نوعا کشنده مطلق مباشر تا با تسبيباسبب قتل ديگري گردد. و هرگاه جاني بدون قصد قتل با ارتکاب فعل قتاله نسبي سبب قتل ديگري گردد قتل در حکم نوع دوم (ارتکاب قتل با فعل قتاله نسبي) تحقق يافته است . مصداق ديگر قتل عمدي محض در حقوق ايران قتل در اثناي منازعه است که ميتواند ماهيتا مشمول يکي از موارد فوق‌الذکر گردد ولي بعلت ارتکاب در شرايط خاص مجازات آن تشديد ميگردد. مجازات قتل عمدي در حقوق جزاي ايران قصاص نفس است . اما در حقوق جزاي فرانسه مجازات قتل عمدي ساده (هيجاني) سي سال حبس جنايي و مجازات قتل عمدي مشدده حبس جنابي دائمي است .<span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";
